IXOPAY Vault Increased 3DS errors

We have identified an External 3DS ACS Service Provider, which is used by many issuers, appears to be confronted with severe technical problems resulting in slightly lower successful 3D Secure verifications. Merchants requiring 3D secure authentication may also observe increased auth cancellation rates. The transaction logs will show up with: 98 - Transient System Error - 1058, Status: U, for 3D Secure transactions.

Please note this is not an issue happening at IXOPAY or our 3DS server infrastructure.

Issue started: 2020-10-20 13:10 UTC and is still ongoing.

    Outage Notification Mastercard MPI / Fixed

    The issue seems to be resolved, there are no more "500 Internal server error" from the mastercard directory server.

    We currently observing "500 internal server error" from the mastercard directory server (only MPI 3DS 1.0 is affected). We identified these to occur with our own MPI server as well as third party MPI servers.
